…travelling on

A lot has been happening since we headed off on the bikes and its hard to keep up with it on the blog. A lot of the time we are in areas where there is no internet let alone phone coverage or somewhere to charge electronics. I like it though, being liberated from your phone and laptop is great. More time for adventures!

Heres a few shots of our bike tour so far.

Our awesome hosts back in Gisborne.

Jo and Caro, our hosts back in Gisborne.

So far we have had an awesome time on the bikes. We have to say a big thanks to the two girls in the final picture who let us leave our backpacks and a lot of our other stuff at their place. Our bikes are now about 10kg lighter and we can fly up the hills. I still haven’t tried any bunny-hops yet though.

By now we have left Gisborne and are making our way around the remote east Cape of the North Island where we are thundering up hills, battling head winds, dodging logging trucks and having a blast doing it. More to come soon…
